Got my baby back today! She looks good, nothing stolen, no scratches, and no ticket! Was a crazy day yeasterday but worth it since all I had to do is pay $201 at the tow place and drive off. Parking violations usualy start at a $250 ticket plus 8 hour community service.

Finally got a decent day so changed the oil. First one of my lug nuts was stuck on (salt + cheap lugs = rust), then the oil drain bolt was stuck. Nothing ever goes easy with this car.

So I guess I'm going to order a new set of lugs (hopefully ones that won't rust) - any suggestions?

right now he'll probably spank me, but i've beaten 6speed TL's before, the year before they became typeS (which isn't as fast, i'm aware). At a light and on a roll i beat em. And my next set of mods should really help me in my fight against the type S's too, so i'm not really worried. Trust me, when i get my car in the working order that i'd like it and install all the stuff i've got laying around, she's gonna be an even more fun sleeper.

Also, after researching H23vtec vs H22, i think the low and mid range torque and HP i have is alot of help compared to an H22. There's guys out there with modest mods and no internal work on H23vtecs like mine putting down 191-215 wheel hp, and 170-185tq which is pretty good for just bolts ons and a tune.

H22 Euro-R for example has high comp. pistons and other internal work, (11.5:1 compression) and stage 2 cams, valvesprings and retainers, etc etc and is only making 213 hp/170tq on his H22 Euro-R.

With a 15% drivetrain loss, that would make it 250hp, which would mean he's looking at low 14's high 13's at very best assuming the net weight is only 3000lbs. So throw a driver's weight in there, and now you're only looking at low 14's.

Take that same car against a TLS6, and you have yourself a damn good race I think (assuming percy can hit a 14.1).

Shaun has weight reductions. No carpets, sound deadening, back seat, trunk, carbon fiber hood, miscellaneous stuff here and there. So his car is less than 3000 lbs. And percy sucks at driving

Though i would tell all yall bought my night. IT was CRAZY!!!!!! I was behind this truck and it was going real close to the side of the road in the puddles. i was like wtf is she doing. my GF was liek they are purposely. I was like I dont think so. Next thing u kno the truck ran over a snow drift and started swirving. SO i called the PO PO and was like I believe im following a well intoxicated driver. Anwho i follwed it telling the dispatcher where she turned and everything and she like tanks and we got off the phone. Well the truck decides to take backroads and im thinking its going home but no it starts driving on a road a few from mine so i was getting pissed. It turned on what we call mainstreet and drove up on the curve for like the 10th time and missed like the 10th telephone pole and or street sign so i called the PO PO again. ANd i was like yea shes turning on north road off main street and now shes in oppposing traffic AGAIN. shes like well the plates come to a house off north road so im guessing thats wher shes heading. SO next thing i kno thetruck turns off north road onto another road and turns left and continues driving til she hits the dead end. then she tries to take a left and runs into someones front yard and is sideways and stuck next to a fire hydrin (sp). then she gets unstuck and as she hits the road a cop rolls up behind her and puts the lights on me and my GF were like YES hahah. Then she keeps going and doesnt stop. next thing i kno theres another cop car the turns left next to her. and is almost side by side and next thing u kno the truck swirves and almost hits the cop next to her and pulls into her driveway. The cops run to the truck ayank her out and cuff her. i roll the window down and you hear her yelling DANNNNNN.......DANNNNNNN........ LMFAO. So i felt sweet cuz i helped out and stuff

Tore my turbo's and stuff out of my car yesterday. glad I did one had some bearing problems so that was sent off for a quick rebuild. Picked up my buddies zex wet kit for 200 bucks so that will be going on the TL. Gonna start pullin the tranny some time this spring. Do a rebuild on that.

If that's the case, then Shaun would definitely have the edge. Not to mention, I don't think the TLS will hit a 14.1 on every run. But then again, street racing for some reason is far different then doing it on the tracks. I guess it will all come down to the launch. Would really like to see the race now.

well if you would have saw the way this person was driving. hardly avoiding several head on collisions. Then you would have done the same thing. Thats not something you sit there and laugh about. Especially when they are on backroads near houses and such. Let alone driving on state route 422. So Im not sure what you meant by that

The dispatcher said she doesnt know if she will need me to be a witness but I hope the lady gets several years. She deserves it.

condone it as like most people, do not support it. But I have been in a car when a friend was driving with alcohol in their system, and I have driven with alcohol in my system. I would never say either parties were ever drunk to the point where we couldnt walk, but it has happened. Then again, I've never put anyone in immediate danger when I have driven with alcohol in my system because I wasnt drunk, no swerving, perfect speed limit the whole way. I've been fortunate so far not to get caught and I really hate doing it, but sometimes you get stuck and thats what it comes down too. But what i was saying was I definitely wouldnt be happy if I found out some kid snitched on me. Then again I dont drive recklessly so I dont have too much to worry about.

I know this is going to get a lot of people going 'your a fucking idiot, blah blah' I dont want to hear it. Shit happens and you move on. Ive tried not to drive anywhere and leave my car in the garage if I know i'm going to drink. Since I'm aware I've been fortunate enough not to get anyone killed or in trouble and I'm not about to push my luck.
