Have you guys had a ERG valve Go Bad on 3.0?

Have you guys had a ERG valve Go Bad on 3.0?
I have an 97 3.0 that the ERG keeps getting stuck from the carbon. I got the recall but nave you guys ever had this problem too and how did ACURA handle the problem for you?

Very common problem, just bring it into acura and as long as you have 150,000 or less they will replace it for you. On the free of course.

my Check Engine light came on....replaced for free under the recall when I had my 60,000 mi service

OMG! I just pulled the code from my 98 cl and the egr was my problem.....It's going to get fixed for free!? Hell ya.

no! 98 and 99's have the warranty until 80,000 miles.

the ignition switch is covered until 150,000 miles
