buy may i will have one or the 2 either a honda h23 or a jdm h22 both are the same price or at least that is what i found. reason askin is WHICH ONE WOULD BE THE BETTER OF THE 2

their prices are a bit high...........if i were you i'd look into gettin a h22 and if you plan on doin tranny too get an lsd 5spd..........check out accordclub.com and go to their store section...itll tak you to a web site with good prices on engines

if you wanna be fast and have the money do a h23 vtec conversion this frankenstein would be way faster den a stock h22......my store tells me it can take h23 will take a h22 by acouple car lenghts dinkin 2.......

why do we all call em frankensteins? is there a technical meaning behind that or do you just mean beast? also, is the h23 really that much badder that an h22

yeah h23 vtec is pretty bad ass....hauls ass...frankenstein meaning putting vtec on non vtec motor weird....

They are frankenstines because of the different parts used from other motors to do the buildup(like frankenstine himself). H23 Vtec's and other frankenstines are for the most part unreliable. It's a motor swap for guys who like to fix shit all the time. I've never seen anybody who hasent spent a considerable amount of money getting these hybrids to work. H22 is the way to go.
