H22a/F23a hybrid is this possible

Is it possible to somehow combine the top half of an h22a and the lower half of the f23a. Actually forget halves I dont know much about eninge building and design yet, so can you combine the slightly larger f23a with the dohc system of the h22a.

Basically I'd like DOHC power without feeling like I sold out by buying an h22 engine. I could live with myself if I had a hybrid engine.

jttoombs the answer to your question is NO. Sorry it can't be done. The blocks are differnet and the head would not line up on the block.

Thanks guys I looked at SH H22 engines yesterday and the parts are to friggin expensive anyway the engine itself goes from $3600-$5200. So looks like Ill be sticking with my F23A. I figure I could get some head work done and lighten up the components to get more horsepower and all in all it would cost less than dropping in a different engine
