Hey I am really close to get a H22A but I want to know how easy is this swap.
Is it a direct swap??
I am getting it from www.jdmsource.com but he is unsure how the swap may be because there hasnt been many CLs

You just need an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness. Or if you have a 98-99 you need an obd2b to obd1 jumper. Then you can run the obd1 p13 ecu that is for H22's.

If you want to stay smog legal in California with the DMV, then yes (Not sure about other states).

If you only want to PASS the smog test, I've read from Mark Davison that you should just get a USDM H22A.

Read here for more info.

if you are getting a 95 H22A, for the the wiring you gonna need to move the "crank shaft positioning sensor" and the "top dead center sensor" over to the distributor (if you need a diagram for that I can make one and give it to you, just finished mines the other day). Also you're gonna need a drivers side mount shaved down (very easy). One more thing, is your car stick or auto, and if it's an auto do you plan to leave it auto? If not then you're gonna need a lot more shit!
