H22 swappers!

I would like to know if any of you H22er's used a harness or if you cut and sliced wires? If you used a harness which one did you use, if not how much did the wiring cost? I'm in south Florida (Hollywood)!

Turbotk and I both had our swaps done at my friends shop in Miami. He cut and spliced the wires in order to convert to obd1.

My mechanic used a piggy back but I had a 02 code thrown and there was a slight hesitation when the car was cold. So we decided to splice the wire and wire it that way. We did but the problem has not change and we are stuck. Once the car warms up its fine but I need to get the 02 sensor code figured out. Mechanic says the car is running rich when the car is cold and can't figure out why. Any suggestions? Hey Turbo what do you mean when you say make sure you buy the h22a plugs?

if you buy the obd1 plugs then you can just re-wire your CL harness to the prelude ecu. Thats what i did and the results were good. although i am having a rough idle when the car is cold as well but i don;t have any engine codes. I think its because i bypassed the idle control valve. Anyways, i too had the oxygen code come up and once i switched O2 sensors i was good. Give it a try.

Did any of you have to modify the distributer, someone told me that I might have to do some minor rewiring to the H22 distributer?

Header doesn't line up with catalytic convertor. A muffler shop should be able to fix it right up.
