H22 Problems!
I am posting for a freind, I am working on his car now.
Its a 97 cl with a OBD1 H22 . He is running the h22 ecu and a jumper harness to convert to obd1 .
The problem is that teh car will run and everything but when you hit 2000 rpms its like hitting a rev limiter.
Has anyone ever ran into this .
The car is throwing idle air , tps, and a colant sensor.
Any help would be good.
Thank you

uhhhh. no?
first off, what ecu are you running? make sure the tps is not busted, unplug it and run the car, it should run ok with the base maps in the ecu. also make sure the map sensor and tps sensor wires arent swapped. they look very similar. also make sure the a6-a11 swap was done on the conversion harness. very important. you will be much better off searching for help over on Honda-tech.com . they are assholes over there but they know what they are doin. Search before you post and you will be ok. oh and from what wilp99 said..if the engine is a jdm you can use a star bit and a pair of vice-grips to adjust the tps but if its a usa you are going to hate life. They are rivited on due to emissions. You will have to remove the TB and grind or drill the rivets out. good luck.

Also what jumper harness are you using? I had to goto SKUNK2 because the one I used was wired incorrectly and made problems for me worse in the long run.
