H22 header question

I got my h22 with just the top half of the of the header. On Ebay I see that they have a lot of headers that i've never heard of before (megan racing, bombs chrome etc) that are at a good price, has anyone tried any of these headers or know someone that has because I dont feel like spending $300+ on DC headers?

I'll tell you what, just get a down pipe for the JDM header. It's better than 90% of the aftermarket headers out there anyways. The only header thats really going to make more power is a Mugen or JUN header. Those headers are made for racing and the downpipe completely bypasses the cat. They are also going to cost quite alot more than other headers. If you dont have $600-$800 to spend on these headers, just stick with the stock one. It will work just fine.

dc sports generally sucks. the quality is good, but the design isnt the best.

look around for some Jasma headers for the motor.... they arent a brand, but its something like a rating that the manufacturers from japan put on all their quality stuff.

NO, dont buy any cheap headers and wast money. The JDM header setup will out perform just about any aftermarket header. Unless you have a Mugen(by the way, Jasma is Mugen, I know because I have a Mugen header on my H22 CL. It's got the Jasma tag right on it) or a JUN header dont bother with cheap crap. JDM headers are the shit. B series or H.

I thought about that also to just keep the JDM header, I saw a picture of one and it looked better than the aftermarket ones! Where can a JDM bottom half of the header from?

Look for some import shops that sell motors. I think you can use a US market downpipe from a Vtec Prelude. They should be the same.
