H20 new paint and other stuff

h2o prOOf : im gettting either mercedes black or subaru sti black w/ gold flakes
h2o prOOf: and all new paint, grill repainted, skirts, my headlight fixed, and a few more goodies :o)
h2o prOOf: too bad i cant bring it too the meet its gonna be SICKi
h2o prOOf: im blacking out my ambers and doing new bulbs and a few other shit i wont talk about yet
sooo now that everyone know that..... what color should he get? Any Black color that would look sick on a CL? post them up..

ok well thanks for posting that... ummm ya
klepto why does the paint suck? i gotta few days to give em a final paint choice.. all the dang blacks i cant decide one, one of the mercedes ones looks really glossy while it looks pretty close to jet black, will show every swirl, any suggestions?

ok wait i gotta get some shade of BLACK so no m3 colors n stuff...
also, i dunno if its the paint itself that has orange peel i had o-peel on my damn CL and its stock paint.. this body shop is prime time, i just cant figure out what damn shade to choose thanks for the tip klept.

i dunno, just looking @ my options. the guys are gonna do 6 coats of clearcoat, and after it cures wetsand it and buff it all out. he garantees no orange peel

prelude black with blue pearl?...i think its just the stock color cause it has blue pearl in it. at least my cousin's prelude has it. but black is black...it will always look nice.

um..... Orange peel comes from the painter/prep painter? I am guessing the shop uses House Of Kolor. If they do then good, Anyways that subaru black w/ the copper in it is awesome. If your shop is any good at all they will mix up some custom stuff for ya. So have them make some test pannels. Then post those up on here! Have them mix up some black w/ gold, silver, and blue pearl in it. I tried that out and it looked HOTT!!! Anyways good luck!

that's the painting process, not the paint. Everything has orange peel these days. That said, Acura's paint is some of the softest shittiest paint i've dealt with
