GroundControl Coilovers

Hey guys, I'm in the market for some Ground Control coilovers. Any feedback on these sets?

Someone already told me that you can specify the type of spring stiffness and height. Does anyone know how they ride? And also, anyone know how much a good price for them are?

Thanks ahead of time.... I have limited internet usage cause I'm in Arizona.

I do not recommend those sleeve covers at all. Like CLPOWER said it will not only ruin your ride but you will probably need a kidney transplant at the same time. If you drive alot it will know everything out of place. Plan on re-aligning your doors every so often unless you enjoy slamming your doors closed. DEFINATELY NOT recommended in my opinion.

I had Ground Controls and took them off after four months. I bought a full nex suspension and worth the thousand dollars. The GC's fu&%#@$ up my ride and my shocks. I hated them. If you have the money I would definetely go with the full coilover suspension.

Hey Semper,

Where did you find the nex full suspension? Is it for the 94-97 accord or specially made for the CL.
Also what kind of adjustability, if any, do you have to the ride height? And how is the ride?

The NEX is made for the 94-97 Accord but it fit just fine. It rides like stock even though it is dropped 2+ inches. I can take corners better. It does not bounce at all and it stabilizes well. The back is slammed with my stocks and the front is higher I do not know why. I am going to raise the back a little. They are a whole lot better than any coilover+shock assembly I have ever been in.I just found the rims I am going to buy they are the Kosei RT mesh. THey are 18's and only weigh 18 pouunds. You can peep them at www.faswheels.com. A bit pricy though about 2 grand with wheels.

Oh yeah I got them through my boy who works for an ADR wholesaler. He sold them to me for only eight hun. I saw them retail at the lowest for $1095 and highest $1300. So I got a good deal. The only prob is I need to get new wheels due to the real negative camber that the GC's gave me. That is why I do not recommened them. They also made a squeking noise.

So do you know any place that sells them, where I could order from and have it shipped?

Also do you know what the total adustability of the ride height is? (highest to lowest drop)
Thanks

BTW those wheels will look sweet, you gotta post some pics when you get em.
