Grill Question

I am going to make a grill using gutter guard. i already bought the stuff and i tried once but i cut it to small. i was just wondering if theres anyway that when i make my new grill i can have just the A emblem on the front of it instead of the whole wing in the middle? I think it would look better but the A is connected to the silver wing thats there already.

i was thinking bout taking the A off from the back but i just heard that there would be 2 holes there from the pins holding it in so i dont wanna do that.

do u think it would look good with just gutter guard and no A on it? I'm not good at picturing things without actually seeing it. if anyone had any pics of that it would really help to. thanks.

By the way, i just installed new headlights. Theyre xenon cuz HIDs were to expensive. and the difference is amazing. i can see so much better when i drive

click my sig for pics of my grill

if you want the "A" only in the front go to your local acura dealer and buy one for the back if you want one from the back to use on the front.

http://gigscompinc.8m.com/97cl.htm

there are pic there on that page that i have of my grill. i took a dremel and took out the grill completely. so now all i have is the metal grill in the front. as you can see on the pics you can see the hood metal guard for the grill in the background behind the grill. these pics were taken before i fixed it. you can fix this by going to a local home depot or ace or orchard supply and buy some shit for screen doors. yes screen door but make sure it is thick and you have atleast 3 layers or so of it. then you cant tell at all that there is that metal piece behind there.

with the xenons, prepare to to buy more than one set of them since they do burn out more than once in a year. i have had my set for over a year but that is just my luck. HIDS are the way to go and you can look down the 1st gen page and see vxcl's project on the projector. he has done an awsome job on fixing a audi lights and bmw projectors in the cl lights. it looks clean

gutter guard is not the best way to build a grill but you can try to find some shit called folitec. vxcl has found a distributor for it, ask him for their site but good luck with your grill and i hope my pics help in your assistance in making your own.

remember its not yours till you customize it yourself!!!
