got a ticket for my taillight tint
yea i got a ticket from the harlem georgia police sunday for my taillight being too dark!! and guess how much it was, well ill tell you.....195 dollars!! thats bullcrap

that should be correctable... do you have Rockblocker tint or is it sprayed???
when you correct it, tha ticket should only be around 10 bucks or so

Not glossy, sticks out too bad, looks like black outs, not tail light tint

i dunno about your state but for CA you must have reflectors, and the brakes have to be seen from 500ft away. Thats why some cars have clear tails or tinted tails but they also have a separate set of reflectors.

i like acura
yea i just did mine, theyre really dark, but theyre more glossy. i still have my wing and the led bar is a lil less tinted so the brakes are always visible

To what klepto said, you must have reflectors. I have wondered that too though, trail blazers, and a number of pontiacs, and berettas all have blacked tails and are dot approved. Cuz they still have reflectors visable
that sucks,but your tails do look dark as fuk though.so are they sprayed or what?

that sucks cause then you cant take em off. can you use some sort of paint thinner without damaging the actual tails? Id say if you go the tinted route again, shoot rockblocker a PM to get a set of the removeable tints

yea i got it off fine with some paint remover stuff and then buffed it out...looks fine now.....how would i find out if it is a correctable ticket??

goto court and bring a picture, if the judge doesnt beleive you, tell his courteously that the car is outside if you would like an officer to verify it. Tell the judge you didnt know it was illegal. Most liekly they'll throw it out

And why is this a surprise? Spray a lighter coat next time.
If you fight it, just bring a current picture and at the very least the fine should be reduced.

they are gonna take a look at the car, sign the back of the ticket with their badge number and stuff and stamp it..... then you just take the ticket to the court house (might not even need to see the judge), show the ticket to the clerks at the window and then the ticket should only be 10 bucks.... if they give you crap about it, just say you want to see the judge!... his decision is final on everything, and i garantee that he'll say "ok, pay ten bucks at the window"
