Got some Skunk2's...

Well, it seems the Ground Control coilovers i was gonna get were missing a few parts. The tool to turn them, plus the rubber bushing that apparently holds the spring in place. So i didnt get em. Went to the shop ,and got some Skunk2 coilovers instead. $300 installed. Which isnt bad I guess. They ride ok. I got em lowered 3inches all the way around right now. Im gonna have to raise em a little to put the 19's on when I go to the Acura meet next week. Thats about it.

My buddy has ground controls and they dont require a tool - you turn them by hand... maybe different on CLs tho

BTW - took the air ride in and they are ordering new air hoses since some were damaged and new bushings/fittings here and there... hopefully it will be all on in a week or so now

It didnt include shocks. All the shocks i've checked into are over $200 at least. the 300 included the coilovers, all the hardware, and the installation. Still got stock shocks.

I wish the streets down south were good.

Why didn't you just get dropzone coilovers or neuspeeds?
I paid $185 for mine with installation. $300 sounds like a lot for just coilovers IMO.

I'd save for the ss's being that i've had skunk2's and the ride sucks.

It is a little worse than just having regular springs. Got a little more bounce to it. But then again, i'm not trying to pay 700 for some Teins either. If i sell the car, i can easily sell the springs. I just couldnt stand riding stock height, it was too weird for me.
