I go to virginia tech, big school (25K+), and I suprisingly haven't ever run into a shitty cop.

I've seen a huge number of parties busted, they know people are underage, they just let you go so long as you arent being a fuck head. The most i've seen is the people throwing the party getting a noise violation.

Some of the cops started throwing beer pong balls out on the porch with us, and told us to move it inside and be quiet. It was amazing.

Yea its stupid when they search your car. I remember back in high school my friends and I got pulled over right when school ended (block away from school) He said someone called in saying a car that matched his pulled out a gun on someone. SO they searched us. Stupid thing is, the call came in from another damn city. how could we be there and just left school. He even saw us leave. Hate cops...lol

I know in washington if they have the wrong information down on the ticket, the judge has to waiver it. that means, the cop doesn't get it put on his qouta, and the state is out of money!!!

 

Doesn't matter what's wrong, or missing, if they leave out anything the ticket can be thrown out.

Fight it you WILL win, 90% of the time an error on the written ticket will get you out of it. Plus the fact that you said you didn't have an actuall violaton. Next time this happens tell him you want to talk to his super... three complaints in a month in california and the cop get a month probation no pay. Thats what I remember at least.

Well yesterday i got bsed by a dick cop i got a 4 in one ticket
one for going 75 on freeway yes 75
one for not signaling while switching
tint for driver and passenger and its not even dark
tint for back window because covering brake lamp

I don't know...sounds like he got you fair and square. All of those are ticketable violations.

1. How much were you over the speed limit?
2. You should always signal while changing lanes.
3. 35% is the legal limit in a lot of states.
4. You have to have a 3rd brake light that's not covered with tint. I have a spoiler, so they tinted over the one inside the car.

 

speed limit is 65 but who the hell gets a speeding ticket for 75... the cop was just being a jackass writing me up for all that he can

 

I got pulled over once at school (I go to UConn). It was really early in the morning (like 4:30am) and I was going to a bank that there is on campus, because as a little side-job I just go and clean it for like 30 minutes (they pay me for 2 hours of work :-) ) before it opens the next day.

Well anyways, I had parked my car and turned off my lights (it was still dark), but then I saw a better spot so I turned my car on to go park my car and I didn't turn on my lights since it was right there, but a cop saw me and stopped me.

He asked me if I've been drinking. I said no, and then he told me he smelled something wierd and had me say the alphabet from like g to r, and had me look into some damn light without moving my eyes. I wasn't drinking at all, and I know his "smell" was all bs.

Worst thing was that he just assumed that I worked there or something and not that I was a student. I know he assumed this because of my appearance and the fact that I'm hispanic. (most of the cleaning people at my school are hispanic cuz there is a ghetto spanish town nearby).
