Unhappy Got Hit 2

Well guys on the way home from work Friday afternoon i was rear ended pretty hard by a Saturn. The impact pushed my car forward and I hit a trailer in front of me. the back of my car isnt bad but my front is messed up bad. because the car was low...the bumper never went in, but thats just sucks for my hood, fenders, headlights, radiator & supports. I just got the head lightlight replaced too and its now all broken.

What was weird was i had a feeling something was gonna happen. cuz 10-20sec before the accident happen that stupid truck pulling the trailer cutted me off like he forgot he got a trailer connect. Well i noticed the yellow LED signal light was working but his red brake wasn't...and there was no license plate. Well i gave the guy a good distance just in case you know. Well the traffic stop...and i didnt have to try hard to stop cuz i left myself enought room between us. once completely stop i had about 4-5 feet between the trailer....i look in the rear mirror and this 35-40 year old guy wasnt paying attention at all...and he was coming at me. oh and the tailer didnt even feel anything, he just drove off once traffice was moving.

Well there was no serious injury but my back was aching when i was trying to get out of the car. i was still shaken up a lil bit, i just couldnt believe it happening to me again. my neck started to hurt a lil later on that night too....i decided imma call a lawyer for this incident. this sucks man.

depend on what the insurance decide...if the total it then no. if they dont...then i got a CF hood coming in...all i really need is a pair of headlights, radiator and a full radiator support.

I dont even know if i wanna fix it...i might just part out the whole car. Right now i'm driving the S2000 but i cant stand driving that car eveyday to work until this one is fix. I'm looking at a 96 SC300 with 170K miles on it for $3500. the car is in perfect and i mean perfect condition. leather look almost brand new...and the car drive perfect. feel even better than one of my friend 04 SC430.

That sucks man, it's probably going to be a write off. That looks so familiar to my CL when I rear ended a truck it's not even funny. When that happened to me one of my headlights was still good, my bumper was still good and it was still nearly a write off. With that damage to the front and whatever is done to the rear, the estimate will be well over the insurance company's value for the car. I hope my post isn't bringing you down too much and I hope you're injuries are not serious. What type of mods did you have done to this thing?

acutally the back doenst look that bad...just marked up and its not lining up. plate just hanging around.

didnt do much mod to it...

Nuespeed Sport
KYB AGX
iRotor cross drill/sloted rotors
no name Front strut bar
Denso iridium spark plug
Magnecor 8.5 wires
Wingswest type-R front lip
Ingall camber kit
Optima yellow top
clear bumper lights

My planned mod once the CF comes in was:
Painted black housing
paint that front lip
WW Type W side skirts
WW type W rear lip
Paint the whole car a dark grey (i got a quote and the money ready, was just waiting for the hood to come in)
Racing hart CX 18" is coming...i guess i can hold on to that.

and that was it...i would of been super happy with just those mods. then kinda of slowly built up that car computer i was talking about.

That sux jimmy, sorry for the bad luck, it's the worst when you see it coming, cuz you tense up. I saw my bad accident coming at me, and it did my spine tons of damage because of it. Hope you are ok, hope they don't total your car if you can help it, you could get your paint job paid for if they don't total it

That doesn't look that bad though in far as repairs. I swear people really need to pay attention while driving.

I'm looking at this 96 SC300 with 170K miles for $3500. the car is in perfect perfect condiction. thats only if the insurance come threw...lawyer said if the the is honest then its cool if not he could say he hit the trailer first and he hit me after. Tailer leave the the accident after the traffic started moving. it was on the highway so nobody would stop to be a witness.

They will come tow the car away, you have to ask the insurance company or the tow driver where the car is being sent to, then buy it back from the junk yard and have it towed to whereever you want.
