So I was at the Costco Gas Station in Van Nuys, so I was waiting behind this lady in an SUV. I was about a car and a half behind her and in park. I see here put in reverse, there was an open stop in the next lane. But she keeps on going so I laid on the horn and try to pop in reverse, but its too late her metal bumber comes on top of mine and hits the hood, making it bend. At this time i was like WTF!! and I just wanted to her. and . I got out, and saw what happen. Well found out she doesnt have insurance, so my insurance company is handling it. Hopefully I can get if fixed soon. Here are some pictures.

 

shit, same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. some people just shouldn't be allowed to drive. looks like it's gonna take some work, especially since the paint chipped.

yup just got a quote today. here is the break down

Recondition Bumber: $186

Used Hood: $300

New Side Fender: $265

New Headlight (the braket is broke): $255

parts: $900 labor:$450 paint $450 CA tax(8.25%): $100

Total: more then $2000

 

ill take the broken headlihgt off your hands if it is broken on the tab

was it still in park? if so u might wanna have the parking pawl looked at (inside tranny). it could have broken/cracked it. especially if the insurance company is gonna pay.

 

yeah it was still in park...i didnt get a chance to put it in gear. yeah 97acura, i plan to keep the headlight, but if you want it we can work something out.

I would of blacked out on the biatch, and caused some damage to her SUV that women can't drive so she can feel your pain. My civic got smashed like that and I cursed out the guy and everyone on the block for just being there. That cat didn't have insurance either so I told him pay me or I'm bring the police to your house. Immigrants without licenses or papers are scared of the poli. Needless to say I got 4k off the guy and sold my damaged civic for 2K
