I was wondering if anyone knew good primer/paint combinations for the following engine surfaces and tips for surface prep:

Aluminum intake pipe (lower temp)
Engine heat shield and valve cover (hi-temp)
Brake calipers (hi-temp)
Plastic fusebox covers (low temp)
Strut bar and various metal parts (lower temps)

What will I have to buy to paint all these and is there one type that will handle most or all of them?

Oh yeah, and include in that list the side-skirts and front/rear lips.
That plastic is wierd.

I don't know much about what types of primers and surface preps there are so i'd like to find out.

I Just have a tip for you high heat and your intake tube get the paint with the ceramic crap in it on eit will help lower temps on th ehigh heat stuff as well as your intake tube and may be gain a extra fraction of a horsie

 

Do you know what type of paint that would be? Sounds like it would be pretty specialized paint.

 

no actually it is not you can get it at your local auto store i think its made by dupli color it will be posted on can "with ceramic crap in side " lol go look for you ll see it
