Goo Gone doesn't work well for me...what am I doing wrong? NEED HELP PLS

I removed the Acura and 3.0CL Emblems off my rear not too long ago, I finally found a bottle of Goo Gone
at my local "Bed Bath & Beyond" ...who would have thought.

I followed the instructions stated on the back of the bottle and I was literally there for about an hour and I still can't seem to get all the glue and residue off....is there a trick to this?

I just used a white cloth and poured some Goo Gone on the cloth and on the residue and let it soak for about 3-5 minutes, but nothing.

Now I wish I had not taken the emblems off...
NEED HELP PLS.

pm me and i will help ya, i had this same problem, i still have a little resadue on there still left but its hard to tell from far away but up close its not that bad just a little bit around where the acura and the 3.0 was but it looks like its from time and sitting there on the car so it kinda stainded the paint, but you have a black car you should not have a problem with it since the resadue is black, my car is primrose so you can see it up close if you look. if you still have the sticky resadue from the emblems, like the sticky tape on there what i did was slowly with a razor blade take it off, i mean slowly, if you go too fast youll leave scratch mark and that not good

got a digi, take some pics and send them to me, i can help you out better if i have something to look at

I debadged my 3.0 like two weeks ago and I sprayed wd40 on the adhesive that was left behind then used a semi hard bristle brush and just kept rubbing more goo gone with a rag as I scrubbed the residue with the brush. the combination of wd40 and goo gone worked really well for me, I just had to be careful that the brush i used wasnt scratching the paint. btw my car is silver and mine also looked like the badges had faded the paint or the rest of the car faded and the badges had kept the paint under them the same color but even that has faded with a couple of good washings so that even up close now its hard to see where the badges used to be.

seems like goo gone with the addition of wd40 might be what i need to do then, because goo gone by itself just isn't working for me.

Taking the emblems off was/is not a problem, they came off very easily, I guess with yesterdays hot weather the glue was already soft and the emblems came right off....

what 3m product are you referring to?
