give me your opinion on this

I'm working on the back of my car right now. I just ordered the type-w rear lip. I'm either going to buy another muffler and have dual 4" pipes out the back, or buy a huge 5" muffler and get the piping redone to have center exit exhaust. Which do you guys think would look better?

I agree. Dual pipes look better!

no! both of u have twin pipes, not dual. Dual is two separate mufflers, one on each side.

do not get a center exit exhaust please. it would remind me of the 70's BMW 2002. It looks good on a very limited number of cars. And i dont think it would be possible, the spare tire tub is too low, you would drag your 5 inch tip everywhere.

Going to dual exhaust set up on a 2.3 would just be a waste, it would add weight with out adding any power.

And here is my pipe:
unfortunatly it was installed about an inch lower than what i wanted.

CluofI, thats how mine is now, but I'm going to probably get an identical one on the other side, just to look good, I know it won't make it faster. Infact without the silencers that I'm going to put on i'd probably loose power. And either way I am removing the spare tire space.

Dust and acura3.0cl your twin canisters do look very nice, but just wait till I have dual 4" on each side.

i like duals, consider getting dual mufflers one on each side? i am getting a custom 2.3 inch piping and a 3in tips on both side from a local shop for about 450 install and all stainless steel so it looks so fresh an clean. . i would recommend duallys and get the stock piping upgraded to a 2.5in to the cat. i dont know about taking off the resonator? any have this done and know how it sounds, i was thinking about it but i heard the car is loud without the resonator

that sounds funny!

i like the single large tip.. but ponly if it fits your car (ie mine goes with my bodykit)... i do not like seeing stock with a huge exhaust... looks funny to me! If you are stock.. i say a dual tipped muffler (no dual mufflers, just dual tipped!)
