I just ordered:
194/168 LED White with 4 Bulbs Type *EXTRA BRIGHTNESS*
from www.autodynamic.com but they haven't shown up yet so I can't say... they're about $11.50 for the pair and the site has little pictures of what they look like when they're on...

Hey Mace,

I just picked a pair of Silverstars for almost $40 and they are yellow and fugly and not as bright as all the hype it has been given. Could you post some pics of your lights on so that I can see if mine are about the same?

I just don't get it. They were supposed to be badass and for $20 a piece they better as well be. Again, I just don't get it. My generic Hyperwhites were so much brighter and better looking (in terms of color) than the silverstars.

Thanks.

Can I use the Polarg 194's for all 4 bulbs, or does it have to be a pair of 194's and then a pair of 168's?

Also, is this an easy install on the ones next to the headlight? I just did my headlights and while it wasn't hard, it was definitely tight fitting and a little more time consuming than I thought. Thanks!

As far as size goes 194 and 168 are the exact same, I think one of them is slightly brighter or something. But, when it comes to Polargs there is only one 168/194 size, so you dont have to worry just buy 2 pair. Installing them is a bit tight though, theres not much room to get your hand in there and pull the socket out and such (for the top 2), took me a while

Funny you ask, because I actually took it off and it doesn't look to bad. It does help brightness a little but not by much.

An easier way of actually taking apart the headlight is simply by leaving it in place, then turn on your headlamps both low and high beams and let it heat up on its own. Then slowly just pull back the front and it eventually will separate from the base. Then from here you can remove that corner piece or paint your headlights.

You still have to take the bumper off to take out the physical headlamp itself though. It just saves time and harder work from baking it and using butter knives.

BTW, I did this just to clean the insides of my headlights but the yellow stuff will never never go away. Time to get a new headlight...

FYI, but whatever you do DO NOT buy these "white" LEDs from autodynamic, unless of course you want completely blue lights or you want to try to rig them up to your windshield washer nozzles. Picking up a set of PIAAs today - wish me luck.

I've got another heads up for you, Katie - the PIAA "Xtreme White" bulbs shine blue too. They're trying too hard to make them look like HIDs I think, but there is no mistaking the blue. It doesn't look white from any angle whatsoever. Another $15.00 gone forever....

I'm starting to get very frustrated with these &%#* corner lights. I've tried two different sets now, both claiming to be white, and both have been blue. I just need plain old white. Not yellow. Not blue. Please...anybody...help....

Also - anybody want some blue corners? Reeaaaal cheap....

I should have tried those in the first place. I'm just going to put the stocks back in for now and pretend nothing ever happened.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, MaCe...
