I'm getting tints next week, can't decide between 35% or 50% (limit here in Quebec is 75%). Anyone have pics with 50%? (I've seen a few with 35% and they're pretty nice!).

What I was wondering, is last year when I joined this board I remember hearing people saying that the tints will cause bubbles in the TOP REAR WINDOW because of some ceramic dots on the glass... Do I have anything to worry about, should I just go out and get a regular tint done on the back window or are there certain things I need to know?

Yea, it won't stick as well to the very top parts of the rear glass and the sides, but it's pretty minor. I've heard of people using a black piece of vinyl over it. Get 20% if you can or lower. I got 35 and kinda regretted it. It's good at nite, but pretty mild during the day.

 

Yeah put some vinyl over the dots (on the inside) Looks really good and no bubbling. As far as darkness i would get 35% all around. I have 35 up front and 20 in the rear and really wish i got 20 all around. I wouldnt bother with 50 but thats just me
