getting shocked

does anyone else get shocked when comming out of cars? ever since about a month ago, no matter what car i go in, each time i come out i get shocked, the only solution i have is to ground myself by holding the door but everyone looks at me like a dumbass. anyone know why this is happening? it happens on cloth and leather seats too

when u step out of the car, knock 3 times on the rear quarter panel

for some reason when the cold weather kicks in, it starts happening. It happens to me to and almost all my friends...

It's the static in the air from the weather changes. Also, the car holds a static charge, because it creates friction in the air and static electricity while in motion
