Getting no spark??

hey guys im having a problem with my swap from f23 to euro r h22a. for some reason im not getting any spark? all the wiring has been done and i got the p28 computer. but my real question is what are the differences between the f23 block and h22 block? the blocks look very identical. but i had went to the shop where i bought the motor and they told me that their customers have the same problem and they changed the dizzy to usdm instead of the euro and oil pump too. so i wanna know if i could use the f23 oil pump??

Some swaps require the distributor to be rewired before it will work properly.

Also, the F23 and H22 block are very different. The H22 block has FRM liners which were made for better heat dissipation as opposed to the F23's iron block. The pistons, rods, crank, stroke, and bore are also different.

yes i did. I did it exactly how it says on the link on top. and im still getting no spark. I even rewired it to match up the colors and still nothing. someone was telling me that I need to get a usdm dizzy and change the oil pump

Why would you need to change the water pump? I don't know of anyone else that has done this swap that changed the pump, including myself. I also used and rewired the JDM dizzy that came with the engine. I guess you could give a USDM dizzy a try. You're using a P28 correct? What map is on it? what conversion harness are you using?

I didn't say change the water pump lol I think you meant oil pump. and yea im using a p28 that is a virgin and a obd2b to obd1 jumper harness. but do u think there is a difference between the euro r h22 and jdm h22?

Lol yeah I meant oil pump, oops lol. What tune is on the P28? I had an issue with my car with attempting to use a P13 with a JDM H22 basemap, it ran like complete crap and wouldn't stay on. Switched to my f23 ecu and it fired up and ran, just not that great. Ordered a basemap from Phearable.net and the car was where it shouldve been. There are differences between the 2 engines but I'm fairly sure the wiring of the dizzy isn't one of them as I have an H23a VTEC and my friend Shawn had an H22 Euro R and the wiring was the same.

can somebody give me the wiring diagram for the euro r for the dizzy and the same for the h23a???
