I have a white CL and I really hated the way red looked on the 1st gen CL's, but all the red CL brutha's on this site really have changed my mind....

I like it along the handles but below and on the hood I don't like. I am sure there is a reason for all the display on the hood though. Like Klepto the only stickers I have are the Acurazine and my old club stickers.

i dont see anything "show" on there.

 

im sure we all know stuff for the first gen is hard to find.. most of the mods are interior.. except for WW front lip WW back lip and WW spoiler, HID's, clear corners, shaved trunk and painted grille.
even before i put stickers on.. noone ever realized i had a lip kit..it looks stock

nope not sponsored by nothing... being sponsored would mean repping them big.. going to shows all over.. i think some companys you sign a contract and your car has to be at the shows.. doesent matter if your going or not.. the cars gotta be there..
this is only the second show i've ever entered in..... just trying to rep the CL's cuz theres usually NONE at any of the shows..

the brand stickers are tolerable.. the tribal thing you gots goin on needs to come off. as well as the stickers on the front fender. tho chrome was a good choice.

i've got a really different idea going on.. im in talks about doing it right now.. never seen anybody do it yet to a 3.0.. u guys will see if i get it done.. my car is and always will be all show no go

yea i totally agree... its on prokit.. and it does sit somewhat high.. but im a daily driver in summer, spring, fall.. and the ride comfort matters to me..
maybe when i have more money i'll air ride it..
i only plan to keep the CL for another year or two before the first gen becomes obselete..

Yea I know what you mean. I was at HIN tonight and I didnt see one CL...there was a few new TL's and TSX's but no CL's. Just looking at all those cars, i kept thinking about my car and how hopefully sometime soon I'll be able to put it in shows. (cant wait for the CF hood!)

HIN actually didnt seem that good to me. It was tight, but i expected more/better cars. Actually, some of the cars out on the street rolling around infront of the show were better looking than the ones IN the show. (some dude had a ....shit...i donno what it was but it was ugly. (like a cavalier or some hyondai or something...(sorry sp) Anyway, it had a full bodykit but the kit was still just primered gray on his black car. There was also a STOCK new accord coupe and the only thing it had done was a W7 in a box in the trunk.

So, Im thinkin if cars like that are in HIN, then maybe i'll have a chance sometime soon to be able to get mine into some shows once I fix some things.
I hope HIN desides to come back to KC next year!

Im a judge for the NCCA who judges HIN and i can tell ya first hand that the restrictions to enter a car are4 getting stricter by the year. We can base a car on what it has but not the taste, same goes with judging, if a car has a bodykit molded we have to give them credit even though it looks like pure ass....

 

so are you saying the ricier the car... the more credit it gets.. even though it looks like ass
