My gas needle keeps bouncing around. i no i got around a half a tank. every time i start driving the needle drops to almost empty, then when i stop it goes back to half a tank. Is it the float in the gas tank, and if it is how much more or less that cost to fix.

 

that happens to my CL also, and also my old accord. I'm pretty this is common in the older cars. maybe someone knows how to fix it.

 

Sounds like the float sensor in the gas tank, doesn't sound like the reserve tank bounce
