Its called a H27 but i believe its a 2.5l engine. Not a bc kit either. Custom made american stroker kit.

i believe the k24 setup would probably be a beastier motor if you built it with the mods this frankenstein is built, but i think what they were getting at is the cost vs horsepower issue. The k's are ridiculously expensive, and with the g23 you can make a good amount of horsepower for what it cost to buy a k series motor and tranny and necessary components for the swap. So in that sense, they're correct with the comparison they're making. At least to me.
