I don't know when the show will air, but there will be a cl on it. Flex is pimpin it all up for him. i can;t wait to see what he does to it. the whole crew was mad chill. they went to the shop i got parts from and filmed the totaled car and the damage estimate. they also filemd the purchase of the replacment cl. then they took it on a flatbed and will bring it back in a couple weeks. the totaled 98 is also the car im swapin parts with before insurance comes on monday to take that one away too.

They are not telling him anything so I wont know anything until the date we get to see it again. its a 2.3cl 5spd. i swaped the dash out fo the wrecked 98 2.3, swaped rims, ans tasilights cuz mine get moisture in them. i wish i had enough time to get the steering wheel.

Hey VXCL, did you swap the center radio console piece from 97 to 98 also?

 

yeah i had too becuase wood trim piece sits inside and you cant do that on my 97 console. i kept my 97 compartment under the radio though. ill get some pics. my only prob i ran into was that the clock must have gotten messed up in the accident. i will have to buy one from acura for like $50. oh well.

VXCL, do not get a new clock!!! You posted exactly what I was looking for. You have to just repin the wires for the clock. It's the same plug but the wires are arranged different. I know because I allready did the whole center console changeover. BTW for anybody else that tries this changeover: The 98 CL console is the only setup you can use. 99 CL's have different shades of plastic and a different style of woodgrain, plus the 97-98 armrest part of the console will not bolt to the 99 center console. Dont bother with 99 shit. I will pull my woograin piece back tonight and get the correct arrangment of the wires. I'll post them tommorow.

 

i kinda thought that could be a possibility. the black discoloration in the upper right corner made me think it was shot but then i looked at my 97 one and it had the same shit. so which wires need to be switched? or am i gonna have to do trial and error? please help me!
