Look in the yellow pages for windshield places, there's a place here that'll come to your house/school/work and charges like $150 to install it in a parking lot

They have a local glass shop that does it everytime they fuck somethin up. so i went there, they knew what happed and it was free

yeah wind shields are cheap, just make sure they back up their work since they leak after replacements. Check with your insurance also, they might cover it for free since its a safety device techincally.

yep, call your insurance and they'll send out SafeLite or someone like that
you'll probably have to pay a small deductable but they'll come to you and take care of it

It's a state-by-state issue and insurance carrier-by-insurance carrier issue as to if windshields are covered under your policy. Some states require insurance companies to cover it; some companies have their own internal policies that cover it.

Try harmonautoglass.com They use PPG glass (which is what Acura uses) and they will come to you for the replacement (or you can go to them). I had my 2nd Gen CL-S done for ~$160.

I would call earlier than that, i'm pretty sure that insurance companies have policies that say you have to declare something within a certain delay of time of the event taking place, two weeks being wayyyy too long IMO...

Honestly, I haven't read the entire thread....But if I did I would say pay for it yourself, because you insurance rates will go up if you claim it on the full coverage.
