Front Speakers Not Working
I just bought 6 X 9 's for the back, 6 1/2 for the front and a kenwood headunit for my 98 2.3CL. I installed the headunit and the rear speakers. I havent put in the new front speakers. When i turn the radio on, music plays from the rears and the tweeters but not from the front (door panel) speakers. Can anyone explain?

yes they were working prior to the install and yes i hooked up the radio correctly, maybe some of you dont know but the tweeters get their power from the front speakers so if my tweeters are working i do not understand why my fronts are not (weird)....i took the radio out with the wiring harness and hooked it up to my acura integra and it worked fine so i know its not the radio......ive installed plenty of headunits/sound systems before and i just wanted to know if anyone had this problem before and told me what was wrong before i take the troubleshooting further....ive also checked the connections on the factory harness and it looks fine.....i dont wanna remove the front speakers and that will be my last resort as i really dont wanna remove the door panels until it gets a little warmer.

Did you trigger your stock amp? Are you still powering all your spearkers from the stock amp?

Just the blose, I thought you had the blose amp, did you check that the wires aren't backwards? Otherwise, the wiring may be jacked up, also, are the wires hooked up in the door panels to the spekaers?

If both of the speakers aren't working I would think it wasn't a mechanical malfunction, but a wire is not connected correctly, tight, or possibly shorting on something.

Was the battery disconnected when you installed the radio? I wonder if somehow someway you sent an electrical current to them and blew both of them. I dunno... You said you bought new door speakers so install them and see if your problem goes away...
No you don't have a stock amp.
