Anyone know if the front grill of a 98 CL 3.0 will fit on a 97 CL 3.0?

I like the look of the 98 better than the 97, so just thinking of switching, anyone done it? Was it easy? And where would be the cheapest?

you can try picking one up from a junk yard, or go on ebay and the black market for a cheap used one which is a rare find. a new one from the internet is like $100

if the 97 grille will fit on a 98+, a 98+ grille will fit on a 97.... its a very common swap, I even just met a guy in a 98, the second he found out mine was a 97, he wanted my grille

Do what works for you. If you like the 98 grille better get one... Make the car what you want it to be. I personally like the 97 better but theres people who like the 98 too

 

I own one of each, and it all depends on what you like, you can do different things with each grill, they're just different looks.
