Oh i guess i'll look for a diy to blacking out the chrome window trim!

 

theres not really one. tape off all around the window trip. tape newspaper around it so you dont spray the car and pretty much do whatever you did to paint the chrome on your trim. same thing. not sure if you sanded or primered or anything. shouldnt be much different.

 

Here is a different way I got from honda-tech. I might do it this way so I could just peel it off if I dont like it which I probably will like it anyway. No chips or fading if you do it this way tho.

 

I've always liked the OEM fog look but nothing else really flows IMO.

Anybody played with these? Trying to decide if they'd be to ricey as fog lights (White only) Angel Ring Lights Opinions? Most of you guys have a better sense of style than I do...

 

Angel eyes are for BMWs, IMO.

Look for a set of Hella projector fogs. They're very small and won't look terrible. Pretty damn bright too.

I am working on it man, painting parts today so I can start putting my interior together. mcajka and I have a date for Tuesday to do the last thing that's preventing me from putting my doors back together, so after that, it's on like donkey kong. Inspection slid a week or 2 so I'll have time to get it all back together. Fogs gotta wait till I get a new bumper though

 

smaller projector fogs a stroke of genius; not only better output+color, but makes them look further apart, closer to where your eye wants them, near the corners; i think what throws ppl about the oem fogs is that they look too big and close together, almost off-road. ideally, i think square ones would better complement the cl's smooth-ass lines, though.

I still like davzilla's the best... they remind me of the 2nd gen road lamps, I think that's why I like them so much.

 

i dont know why people say they look weird, they look awesome to me. Throw some HID's in em and tint em for my black CL to go with the tinted corners and they would be pure hotness

your cars sexy. holy hell. please though..PLEASE, paint that grill. just tape off the chrome, remove the A and add a couple coats of black. It'd look SO much better. fogs look great though! as well with the car.

So i remounted my fogs today. they are now cut into the bumper under the turn lenses. i could takes pics but i'm getting a couple things this week, and i'll just wait to show you guys on thursday or friday. but i will say they don't just look sweet they look like they were meant to be there.
