Fogs and CV Boots

I know where the switch for fogs is in my car, but it doesnt have fogs. How do I hook them up when I get them if the cars prewired....
Also what is the Diameter of OEM fogs cause im gonna get some and I like the size of the OEM ones.

Finally a local shop estimated 180 including labor and parts to replace both front CV boots.. Is that a good price or what?

thanks guys

dont think the fogs are prewired, atleast not for me but it is not that hard to run the wiring. I would take off the front bumper to install everything for a clean look. OEM's are like 3" i think.

price should be under $100 I got 4 quotes and they were all under that $100 mark. Just got both my CV's installed for $80

really?? under $100? I have DIY replaced axles instead of repairing boots and the axles alone are 60-70 each.

cv install and cv boot replacement are two different things. the later being more costly as the cv's are removed, disassembled, the boots changed and then reinstalled.

yes i did notice that too. i just assumed he was talking about the cv shaft because that is what most people would do. instead of the latter and pay for for boot repair only.
