I need some assistance, I got a fog light kit from a friend but it had no instructions with it. Can someone point me in the direction where I can find some instructions? (I thought I saw a post that explained it somewhat but I couldnt find it with the search)

The only difference for your '98 is where you mount the switch. It's in a different location than shown in the instructions for the '97.

If you didn't already know, your switch goes in, just right of the clock:





Otherwise, the instructions are the same for all years ('97-'99).
