fog light switch install
it should have came with directions. PIAAs have special wiring harness so i cant tell you off hand. but if u used the wiring they gave u all u have to do is mount the switch in the car, run the wire into the engine bay and just attach it to the special connector.
i would send them back or call for them to send instructions

The wiring already exists in our cars even if you didn't get the OEM fog lights with the original purchase of the car.
The orginal wiring goes from the back of the center console (where the switch is) to the drivers side wiring harness, inside the hood, just past the firewall (Just behind the shock tower). When I installed my kit. I had to put the button in, connect it to the existing wiring harness in the center console. Then it came with another wiring harness that connected the wiring under the hood, to the battery (fuse) and then to the bottom front of the car.
If he wanted to use the existing wiring, he would have to splice the cables, etc. But without the factory button, he wouldn't be able to use the existing wiring harness and would need to drill a hole in the button cover or someplace else on the dash.
