First Update!

hey guys how is it going? I haven't posted a status update on my car yet, I've been ghosting these forums for a while. I own a white 1998 automatic 3.0 CL with an K&N Typhoon SRI and Memphis Power Reference speakers, attached to a 12" sub in the trunk with a 250 watt amp for the sub.

A tree recently jumped out in front of me on some loose gravel, I just got the car back. I know this thread is next to useless without pics, but I will try and upload some cell phone shots tonight if I have time. The drivers side suspension was shot, tire blown, and the front corner/turn signal is hanging by a wire but still works! I will need a new quarter panel for that side, as the dent is pretty big, as well as a new bumper.

The steering wheel is locked at 45 degrees to the left, which is straight. This is cosmetic however, as it still drives straight like this. The mechanic said he could replace something in the steering column that's bent to fix it, but I will hold off on this until my funds recoup. It's just annoying cause I can't see how fast I'm going with it in the way.

I ordered the bulbs necessary for a full blue LED conversion last night, so that will be fun. After that I plan on getting the cosmetic work done from the crash, and then do a full exhaust, followed by a direct fit HID conversion from an awesome DIY I found here. I'm still in the process of looking for good headers, a cat, piping, and a muffler. The mechanic said he could bend the headers for a 99-03 CL for me when I'm ready, so I got that covered.

Anyway this is my first update, just letting you guys know where I'm at!
Thanks for all the info thus far, you'll probably be seeing more of me around the boards. Cheers!

Heh, but that would be impossible!

I know I know I'll post pics soon.
I'm looking at exhaust possibilities, but not sure which ones are decent. Here's what I've uncovered so far...

Headers:

http://www.viniati.com/9497-accord-m...t-p-18125.html

Price doesn't matter, but I don't want to WASTE money, just get good parts.
I like the megan system for its 2.5" piping, but the muffler it comes with is outrageous imo, and will probably get something like this to keep with the stock look:

(I really like the dual tip look)

Feedback on any of these would be awesome!

Those headers are all for the 2nd gen CL, which features a 3.2L engine (J32). We have the 3.0, which is a J30. I don't think that they will bolt right up, but I'm sure some of the more seasoned members like 97BlackAckCLand Cocoa(who did a J32 swap) can verify either way.

Yeah you have to bend one of the downpipes inward 1" I think... My mechanic already said he could do that for me.
