First thing to do

I bought my '97 cl from a lady who had done nothing to her car. I want to start working on my car, but have no idea where to start. What should i do first?

My first mods were lights, gauges, then an intake. Did cost too much.

clear bumper lenses and tint and new bulbs in the front end for looks.
Intake or remove resonator and get K&N air filter for performance/gas mileage

Easy first steps.

Hey welcome to the club!

First I would get some tint put on.
Then some clear corners.
After that some springs and a set of 18's.
Intake after that.

thats a good start for now!

I know this is a stupid question, but what does taking out the resonator do? i have a 97 3.o and all ive done is a K&N drop in. Will removing the resonator tube help in power?

LYLE.. welcome to the board... removing resignator will do 2 things if I am not mistaken... first it will clear the airpath and produce a smoother air floew without resistance... yes it provides some(minimal) performance...

then #2 is an increase(not loud) hum in ewxhaust!!

I think I am correct.. someone back me or correct me!!!
