since your not rich i suggest you get an ebay intake (cant believe i just suggested one of those) so your 2x could breath a little bit.

well i have an AEM v2 and everyone here will bash me for that, saying i wasted my money and i ll get the same gains from a ebay,but i ignore them now.

i love my aem intake, its looks good, doesnt look cheap, great sound and noticeable power, better gas mileage too. and it comes with a K&N filter

let the bashing of my V2 begin.....

 

got a 2"-2.5" screen on the HU in the S2000. and yeah i do watch DVD on it.

 

Anyone have any other suggestions for a cost friendly power enhancer for a 2.2 besides an intake?

u can get a used kit for around $400-500.

i/h/e/pulley will run you way over $500 and u still wont have nearly the same power gain.

I got the v1, if my tranny wasn't falling apart id say lets meet up take some video and post it....but my fucking tranny is going slowly...

and bro nothing wrong with the v2 thats the shit man, generic ebay intakes are ok but the quality n build of aem products is far better

v1 is old school i like that. you cant beat the price of the ebay generics and there obviously isnt that much of a difference in power, but i would defenitly pay extra to have a nice looking intake with a quality filter compared to an ugly pipe with tacky colored hoses and other pieces.

 

^hey they got some bad ass looking black intake on ebay. all u have to do is buy a K&n filter.

 

yea the black ebay pipes look good, but i hate the ones with the cheap looking aluminum piping with yelllow hoses and like a red filter or something like that. id be even more embarassed to pop my hood then i already am.
