what should be the first performance mod i should put on my auto 3.o cl? intake? headers? ????? and what sup with the venom 4000 thing? is it really that good? increases 25% more horsepower to your car? and how much?

 

intake. thats my opinion. you will love the sound that you get esp with the 3.0

and it is the cheapest thing you mentioned.

 

No doubt, an intake is a great first mod.:P

 

Rip the resonator out, and slam it....

 

Intake is a good 1st mod (I paid $65.00 on eBay). I get about an extra 5-6 HP to the wheels. That's just over $10.00-$13.00 per HP. Venom 400 nets me about 13 HP to the wheels. (I paid $260.00 on eBay). That's about $20.00 per HP!

 

It depends on your finances!!!!

cheapest way out = intake - best bang for your $$$
most expensive way reasonably = headers
inbetween = would be your suspension - springs, shocks, sways

 

go for the headers. get the expensive stuff out of the way and go fast.
