New exhaust is always a good first mod to do, but you could also get a catback kit from a 94-97 Accord 2-Door and save yourself a bit of money over going to a shop (You could also end up spending more though, but that depends on the brand really.) My first mods were an intake and a 1.5" drop - Took me three days to drop the car since I ended up breaking a bolt off on the back right and had to cut it out, press out the old bushing with part of a bolt stuck in it, and then press in a new bushing to carry on with the install. Gotta love doing your own work ... :p

If you do the work yourself, lowering isn't really that bad. I'm looking to spend about $600 when I redo mine in a couple of months. I'm gonna go with KYB AGX struts, Neuspeed springs, and new Prothane bushings. Most of the parts can be found on eBay for fairly cheap.

I dropped over a G into my suspension, but boy am I glad I did. No uneven wear, and bitchin' handling compared to stock.

AS for exhaust, I got a single tip. I was thinking about a double tip for a long time, but for some reason I decided shortly before getting the exhaust to get single tip.

don't mind the lexus liscense plate holder, I finally got off my lazy ass and removed it.

If you want a new car then go for it, redoing the suspension is huge and it's been the biggest project on my car so far, due to the age and condition I had to replace every part of the suspension so I feel ya, I also believe in doing it right and replacing everything. I'm savin up for the tein SS's too. Bushings are huge when redoing your suspension, but if you're lookin for a new car get something newer with a less abused suspension

The RSX was the coupe that replaced the CL, but if I remember correctly, they've stopped making the RSX's. I'd love to have one of the new TL-S's with the six-speed, but I can't afford a new car right now with medical school coming up in a year (A new Acura will be one of my first purchases when I graduate though.)

i use a JDM BuddyClub muffler.

Single tip. Check the Photo Gallery to see how it looks.

Its the "can" style, I like how it looks, less cumbersome than dual tips.

It might be louder too, but I have nothing to compare it to, so I dont know.

I'd get some headers while your at it.

Took the car in this morning. put on the 22" resonator 2/12" and magnamuff it sounds pretty awsome. I got a single tip cuz he was gonna charge me $85 for the double tip??? so i had him put a used single tip on for free. still sounds sick tho and im a wittttle faster. up next is intake..
