If I had a black CL I'd rather keep the tail lights as is, rather than smoked tail lights. Simply being that it doesn't contrast too well, and it makes the car look "off".

 

my cars black and i installed the tint earlier this eveneing. klepto took the pics so he will be uploading them once he gets home. by the way, they look asweome. unfortunaltey u guys will have to wait a bit longer to see the wonderful results of the 35% tint on a black and white cl.

alright here are the pics. The tint was OK to install, just make sure you get everything nice and wet (as with other things) before you get started. Line up one side and get that straight and then heat up the middle and work towards the other side. I still have some bubbles but hopefully they'll dissapear as it dries. Now....ONTO THE PICS

they sure are! covers the red reflectr. i dont know if it still reflects through the tint.

 

yea, ive been thinking about doing this but 1.) its tint...i know it wont stay on forever. and 2.) I think it almost looks too dark and black on a black CL...theres just no contrast. Now on white and silver, it looks hella good...but i think its just tooo black on a black cl....nice picts and mod though...

I think the Black and white it looks great!! I have dark blue and they look awesme on ours.

The Film is a tint but not what you think. It will not come off unless you want it off.

At night with no lights on the tail light is smoked out, but during the day or when you hit your brakes it is just fine. You can see the red of the brake light from 500 ft. Which is the law here in AZ.

This product is to each their own type of product. For those that want it will be happy.

The tint looks hawt, the 35 is too dark for my taste, but I was plannin on getin the 20, which is lighter. Anyone buy this? I'd like to contrast it against a pic of the 35. I think they both look hot, have to agree that I like the contrast on klep's better, but I think I'd like it better lighter on a black CL. I just need to see a pic of the 20% anyone? Or rock do you have a pic of it on another car? thanks

Wait...20's lighter than 30??? So its the opposite from window tint. (window tint, the lower the # the darker the tint)
