i think the bimmer looks like this years solara My boss have a 6 series coupe, or is it an 8 series? I dunno, but they are hella ugly.

 

Yeah that M6 is mad ugly but you can't argue the power. My C.E.O has a new 645 stock 19" wheels. The RL is a sick machine with everything it comes with, lights that turn with the car , AWD, fingerprint to get in the car. Sick

 

IMO a nicely ( clean ) CL looks better than the
6 series coupe.

 

645, thats the one he has. looks like a toyota to me, especially the tail. it has some power though, drives real nice, but i wouldnt spend 60-70k for a car that looks like a toyota.

 

I hear ya man. Spending 60-70K for a whip it needs to be able to smoke everything out there. I would spend that money on a M3 with a supercharger.

 

New RL has an ugly ass like the CL (w/ no spoiler). That's about all they share.

 

Definitely some 97 CL cues on the rear and front ends.

You guys have to see both those cars in person. They're soooooooooooooooooo nice.

The 6 series has 350z c pillar.

 

6 series = just like Z4, good looking in person

RL = still ugly

 

the new RL isnt ugly...ya needa check urs mirrors for that.

the M6 is nice nothing like the 1st gen CL.

 

It's not so much ugly as it is plain, the rear IS ugly tho. No way I'd pay that kinda cheese for the RL, def be in a Merc or a Lex for that price.

 

I like it. some lines are simular but, personally I think it shits on a CL. don't get me wrong...I love my car. but gimme a chance to trade up, I'm thurr!

I disagree. The 1st gen CL has a style all its own. I dont know about you, but I kinda like when people have to ask what kind of car it is, even before I debadged it. Alot of people never even knew of the CL. I still think it is a clean looking car that looks better than alot of new cars out there. Do u have a 1st gen?

 

pebecl97: Yes I have a white 99 with spoiler. I love it because people always ask if it's new and what it is. I think the spoiler improves the look and like you say its unique.
Just passed 30K on the speedo on a trip to Yuma. I normally get 35-37 MPG have gotten as high as 43 on a trip with a tailwind.

Gotcha. I dont think the CL is ugly though, its just different. it stands out in a world of look-a-likes. I personally dont like the spoiler, but whenever I see a lowered black CL with a spoiler and rims, it makes me think about getting one installed. I must say I love my CL, but I cant wait to get into something else at the same time.

Yeah, I agree. A lot of you are just judging by the photo's but it's really nice in person.

 

In fact, it's one of the few body styles I like after Bangle started designing them. I HATE THE 5 SERIES. Used to have such classy AND classic style, but now it's ugly and will not age well.

 

Led98CL: I knew a girl like my CL "so ugly she was cute". Beauty being in the eye of the beholder etc.
The first post was a joke, of sorts, but like many things, it grows on you. Come to think of it that girl grew on me as she had hidden talents.

you are out of your mind if you think an 80k bimmer is getting styling tips from a 97 Acura.

i know we love our cars and always try to back it up, but this is just a little ridiculous.
