i think that looks awful. the wing is atrocious, the yellow stickers are rice, the yellow seat belt pads are rice (but do add 15 hp), light covers look ghetto. just my opinion though.

 

what's up wit that wing....lol...that shit doesn't even go with the car....and yea the headlight covers....kinda 90's style, all he would need is the fender flares and he be stuck in the 90's...

Looks like they did a lousy job on the set up. It doesn't even lay even. Oh well..

 

Granted im not a huge fan of the wing either we shouldnt bash him this much. I mean someone posted a pic of his car w/o his permission im sure and he isnt even here to defend himself. He put a lot of work into that car and im sure he likes it a lot. To each his own. Atleast invite him to the forum if you want to bash his car. Just my 2 cents

anyway, i just think what he is trying to do to his cl is what most people on this forum dont like doing. but i cant knock the air cylinders though!

one thing i noticed he mentions on the page he can do 3 wheel. that is impossible with cylinders unless you are driving 40 mph in a circle. reason, hydros and cylinders and different, cylinders can be dropped all the way, and if you went to jack the car up the wheels will stay on the ground until the cylinders are fully extended.

to each his own, but def. different!

 

that person gives CL a bad name. but thats my opinion. u all might not like the looks of my car but i think it looks hell of a lot better then that pos. i will post pics when i get some.

 

That might be the ugliest modded CL I have ever seen. I do like the yellow brakes though.

 

Yeah, does look like a ghetto job on the headlights, doesn't look like they even match.
All my mods are done by hand so someone could very well say the same for mine. But I do think my car is a bit more classy than that one. The wing doesn't go well aesthetically... the shape is all wrong, our car has a different stance than a Civic or supra etc. so it doesn't look good.

I can deal with the stickers and seatbelt pads, I'd like to see what the interior looks like. He sure didn't put much into the engine... about as simple as it gets you know... doesn't even have custom piping.

I can't beleive he won a place at a show. Musta been a "How big is your wing" show...

Oh yeah... insert "IMO" wherever you like...

I wonder what other types of wings (there are lots) other than the stock one look good or OK on our ride...

I think a 98 accord factory coupe one may look interesting because of the angular look to it.

i have a big ass wing on my car. but its aluminum and adjustable. it doesn't look as bad as that poop looking wing on his car. IMO i don't think my wing looks all that bad.

hmmm lets see. im only 18 i have gone through a 99 maxima gle and i have many more cars to go through. i have a 2000 landcruiser. hmmm lets rethink this. many people have seen my car on the road and jocked it. they stick there heads out the window and yell nice car. you haven't seen my car with the wing and a kit? and if u think your car is any fast. wow u have nos. i can go and buy a nos kit and have it running by tomorrow. but nos takes the fun out of working on the car. nos is cheap and a good way to put your car to waste. and again lick my nuts.
