Sup fellow CLers.. It's been awhile since the last time I posted anything here.. well I've been very busy with college and getting out August (WEEEPEEE) and now I'm back working on the car. Got the lip finally installed and painted, along with the stock sideskirts and the calipers.. as you can see my rear is still stock because next up is a rear lip. Anyways, enjoy the pics and I mean A LOT OF PICS.. so for those who have dial up Internet...be patient.. thanks for looking and I JUST LOVE MY CL.. hehehe.. teker guys..

thanks 97silverCL2.2CL..the grill in the hood I got from one of those central heat and air filter..hehe..very cheap.. and the one on the bumper is from APC.. i put the grill first then the front lip..

Wow--looking great man. It looks like you've kept the paint really clean--good job. I like the lip and the painted skirt--I'm planning on doing the same to mine soon. I also like the way you've done the grill--the best I've seen. Very clean looking. The only thing I would do differently is the color on the calipers, as I would have gone with silver on your car. Props!

Car looks sweet... Color is great, rims are perfect, drop looks just right, grill is excellent, front lip is just right. Now... don't put a rear lip on just paint the black part on the bottom - a rear lip would be to much. The side lights on the front fender are pushing it. What's with the windshield washer nozzles? Are those the LED ones? If so very gay - change them back to stock asap. The VTEC sticker is very subtle and looks okay. The interior is rice-o-roni! That shifter light is ridiculous! The shifter handle and the parking brake handle don't look stupid - look at the outside of the car and how everything works looks right together to make the car look hottt- then on the inside it's all tacky add-ons - nothing works together! What is that huge ugly red thing hanging off the vents? The grey covering the wood trim looks excellent! The gauge pods on the a frame - rice-o-roni! And hide the wire for the radar detector! I ran mine through the trim and down next to the rearview mirror - much cleaner look! You painted the glove box door handle black - Why? Did you want people to notice the latch handle? And you painted the two screw covers on the center console next to the shifter black? That just makes them noticeable and screams "This is where the switches would have gone for the options I don't have on my car" - if you can, take the black paint off. And take off the convex mirror on the drivers side - how old are you? 70? Your next doesn't turn to check the lane next to you before you turn? You are at a crossroads - your car looks pretty hottt on the outside. You can either leave it and go for the clean cool look or find as much crap as you can to tack onto it and make it look ricey. Ever see those 4x4 trucks with toms of tacky crap added on? The CB antennas, the crome puch bar, the nerf bars, the roll bars, the bug guard, and on and on and on - it stops looking cool and starts looking tacky. The outside is almost perfect - don't mess with success! My 2 cents...

Well Kit, it definently looks a lot better than before. You definently have made some improvements. But, you know I'm gonna have to critique you a little bit.

- Take off the lighted windshield washers.

- Take off that ugly VTEC sticker

- You also need to paint the back lip, it doesnt look right to have the WW and sides painted, and not the back.

- Please dont try to make your auto look like a manual with the boot.

- Why the hell do you need a shift light? You have an automatic, theres no need.


Other than that, you're on the right track.

sup dainfammus1..thanks and i do plan on tinting the car.. about the rear.. im still deciding if im going to get a rear lip or just paint the stock black plastic like i did on the side skirts.. but im more into putting a rear lip.. will just see what happens.. thanks again..

sup katana18.. i know it's been awhile and thanks.. your ride is waaaayyy much better than what i've got.. so props to you.. i remember still how i got blown away when i saw your pics.. lols.. anyways thanks also for the critiques.. i don't take them too seriously if you know what i mean.. i take it as it comes.. the windshield washers don't actually light up.. the VTEC sticker will come out sometime this week.. about the back lip.. the reason why i didn't get it painted is because Im going to put a rear lip.. so i decided not to spend extra money to get it painted if i were to put a rear lip.. and about the boot my intention was not to make it look like a manual.. but rather just to match it with the ebrake.. but I might take it off this weekend and see.. if for some reason i will like it better without the boot then it will come off.. and the shift light ofcourse.. heheh.. i made a mistake before and added a tach on my car.. which left a hole.. so just to cover that hole i decided to put the shift light.. if you have any suggestions on how to cover the wholes without putting anything there...let me know.. thanks again katana..

thanks vkilmor.. well the grille on the bumper i bought at a local auto store.. i think it was by APC.. i cut it to the shape of the opening in the bumper and put it there before installing the lip to have that clean look.. thanks again..
