Fender rolling issue

I recently had my fenders rolled and the shop stated they could not roll part of the fender all the way because of the rear control arms getting in the way. Does anyone know another way of getting them flat without messing up the fender?

Is that safe? Will the paint start chipping with that method?

^ Its always a possibility depending on who's doing the work. Even the best at this, using this method, will mess up every once in a while. Worst comes to worst, you'll have a crack/chip in the paint job to work out.

I'd prefer to avoid that haha Don't want my paint to get messed up. Just wanted to see if someone had a better solution to this problem. Worst case scenario, I will go that route.

All four of my fenders were rolled with a mallet and no roller and mine turned out okay. I think that the paint condition being really good helped too.

Check craigslist, in my area I found a guy that rented me an eastwood fender roller which worked great. Paint still might chip though
