a couple of weeks ago i just got home form school and i pulled into my driveway for just a second. i wen inside and just as i got in, my mom was leaving. she was pulling her car out of the garage and hit my car and left a huge dent in the right front quarter panel, and she is not going to pay for the damage!!! i took it for an estimate and they said it would be arond 1,300 to get it fixed!!!!!!!!

1300?! wtf thats rape. U can buy a new fender yourself and just have someone install and paint it for way less. u might be able to install it yourself also depending on ur level of mechanical know how

1300 dollar?? wtf are they doing? , do it yourself, it appears the door has not been damaged, maybe a slight bend in the hinges, and even if thats the case you might try to pull them back in shape, i would try my luck and remove the fender, maybe the replacement fender will bolt right in, simple tools simple task, ive taken off my fender and bumper countless times for lambos and stuff, and ive replaced the hood, bumper and one fender when my car was hit, but we have a shop and tools and stuff.. but if all goes well, prep the fender then send it to the cheapest place for paint.. you will save lots of money, i wish you were nearby i would def help you

you should take off the splashguard, reach behind the dent and try to pop it out.

Just buy a used fender from a local junk yard and install it yourself. Its not hard at all. Sure beats $1300 Goodluck.
Try Car-part.com

take the fender out and pop it back to shape, you might have a little crack but you can take it to a shop and have them fix it.

dude... that doesn't look too bad at all... good thing it missed ur door. seriously... just take the fender off, which is a few bolts, pound it out as best as u can ( it can't get much worse)... then that'll save u some money on the repairs at a shop if u decide to do that... or like others have said... look for another one at a junk yard, regardless of color, because to paint a fender should cost no more than $200, imo. If u do decide to go through a bodyshop, get multiple estimates.

damn judging by your neighbors house your hood must be hella nice. anyway i got one too.

i was like 7 houses away from my house on my way to work when some lady comes out the cut and does this wide ass turn like shes driving a semi. i step out the car and hella jet to her window and start yelling at her. shes some old lady but i dont give a fuck cause she messed up my car. turns out she didnt have a license but she did have insurance. i was hella late for work.

but atleast the shop is ogin gto repaint my front end. ive been meaning to do that anyway cause i got hella rock chips. but now im driving this pontiac vibe for a rental. i miss my car. ive got all these car parts for it as well like my headers and rims that i cant put on cause its in the shop. bastard. if that lady wasnt old and if that lady wasnt a lady i woulda knocked her one on the lip for making a crazy ass turn like that.

but sorry bout your car. i feel your pain homie

i just got my second estimate and it would be around 800 seems alot better than the original 1,300 but still a rip off.... if i could find a fender already in that color it would be really good... but it seems like finding a needle in a haystack.

thats exatly what i said earlier, the door is not damaged, its a matter of replacement now, i really fear you will end up paying 1300 for a job that probly will take less than 4 hours

There is a place hhere in san antonio that you can get a fender for, for like 35 bucks. Have it painted then throw that bitch on yourself. Ill try and get the name of it for you.

My father in laws dad owns a body shop here.
