Is it true that if you want to do some body work (passenger rear wheel well area) I should get a driver side front fender to do the repair? Just something I remember reading.

Or you could get a quarter panel? Not quite sure I understand the question.

That makes no sense to me. You'd get a passenger rear quarter panel.

This is correct. My buddy Pat aka 975speed did it. The drivers and passengers front fenders have the same contour of the rear wheel wells so you can cut a peice to replace the rust area. The drivers side fender works for the passenger wheel well and vice versa. Search the last couple pages of "what did you do to your cl today" thread and look for 975speed's posts. He has pics and all.

Thank god I am not as crazy as I sounded to some of you. guess I need to get out and start hunting parts again. I want to part ways with the 97 and move up to the 2nd gens, but I also dont want to drop 5-6k on what I really want.

Got quoted $1500 today to fix my wheel well using the piece I have Lol! Apparently I have sucker written across my forehead!
