Fan replacement on 98 CL 3.0
Had my daughters car fixed after she rear-ended someone and the parts car they got some of the parts from was not in great shape it appears. I have replaced the headlights and other stuff with new aftermarket and they look great, but tonight I plan to replace the cooling fan and the AC fan.
Is this pretty straightforward? I have not seen anything on pulling the fan out, just the radiator. Hoping it is just a few bolts and an electrical connection.
Any experience that could be shared would be appreciated.

It's pretty easy, there are 3 x 10mm bolts per fan shroud, and I believe just 1 electrical connection each. Most radiator removal docs should show this as the first step since they have to come out first. Getting to the lower bolts is a bit of a pain, but definitely manageable.

Just took my passenger side fan off yesterday to change my alternator. Two 10mm up top, one dead center bottom. I don't currently have my plastic undercarriage on so I just layed down and reached up from underneath with a ratchet. Also there's 2 connector's. One obvious and one further down the same side. You have to completely remove the lower plug to take the fan out. Drivers side should be similar to the passenger.
