is there a green filter behind the guages that can be removed? I want to install all white LEDs behind there to illuminate the guage font, well, white..lol

LEDs are a bad idea. The illumination is too direct. From pics I've seen, it looks uh...odd. Your best best is to use just clear bulbs and place a section of a mild blue color gel over all of it.

LED's are not a good idea? I may try superwhites then..

i have those blue LED wedge type bulbs in mine.. works fine. But i there's always one that burns out fast...but it's worth it. Buy them off ebay, bulb # is 168. You'll need 4 of them.

Oh yea...when you get them, if the head of the bulb is ROUND, sand it down, so it's flat. That way the light will spread out and have no hot spots...
