Allright guys...I spent my H22 money
I paid my insurance for a full year so i can keep driving my car.
But thats good in a way, right? Now, i have a few ?'s. Say I were to use my stock engine, get a bigger throtle body, underdrive pulleys, AEM plug and play engine management system, Vtec Controller, Cam gear, lightened flywheel and ACT clutch, and header, ex, intake. What kinda power would i be running? And if i were to run a small turbo kit like niejeb what kinda power could I get? Is it worth it or am i just trying to drag more power out of nothing? I want that H22 so bad, but $, $, $.

If it matters....I wish I would have done the FMAX first and the odds and ends bolt ons after that.
Stuff like pullies and throttle bodies dont amount to much since I can turn a dial to get 2 more psi and get 20 more hp.
With the headaches/delays the H22 installers are running into I'm starting to think its more trouble than its worth.

for the $ you're going to spend on the mods you've listed you can buy at least 2 h22a's and that's not including labor.
the aem system is good but expensive, sds or hondata are supposedly easier to program but way harder to install.
you don't need a vafc with an engine management system
i was surfing a few days ago and came across a turbo for the f22 and he wanted 1000 complete with manifold, but no front mount intercooler
i say do what i'm doing
put on a 75 shot of nos until your f22 blows up
swap with a jdm h22a and keep the f22 tranny
buy a JUN ecu off ebay. you can buy an h22 for 1000 without tranny and ecu, shop around
in the meantime while you're blowing up your f22, find killer deals on h22a parts and internals and stock up
save $ on labor and install it BEFORE the swap

Niedjb's fmax puts out impressive numbers on relatively low boost (correct me if I am wrong). I mean look at his signature, 264ft lbs of torque (who said little Honda 4s couldn't make decent torque?).....that is absolutely awesome. All that with no swap headaches.

who told you that?
it doesn't matter if it's jdm or usdm, it will pass, just don't take off your cat

make some friends and give the guy a TIP
, he'll pass you!!!
i have talked to many shops around the area and they said itsnot worth it to swap a H22a into an AUTO CL. its tomuch work and u have to spend alot of money getting all the parts for the Auto tomanual conversion as well. They say to sell the car and get another car that worth modding. If my car was stick they said it might be easier but since its an autoi will have to spend close to 5 grand just to get it up and running right with the stock h22a motor and 5 speed tranny.
I dont know what u guys think but i think it could be less and more simple but Ill wait toget results from our guinea pigs( dcsquirm, turbotk,&and vtecpowersumo.)
hope u guys get everything up and running with no engine light probs.

thats what they were saying. But i love my car and i dont want to sell it. If i do i save for an M3 or something in that class. I dont really trust "used cars". There are always something wrong with them or else they wouldnt be up for sale.
