Just a quick question....i was gonna swap my engine in the civiv....does anyone know if the civic type r engine will pass emissions?? or which engine would?

Pretty sure no jdm engine or ecu would pass. I really don't have any experience with emission test since they aren't any in FL.

most JDM motors should pass if used properly to be honest with you.. make sure the car isn't running to rich on fuel.. and bring her through... and if your in cali seak other methods of inspection

it'll pass the test, it may not pass the visual inspection

cus im in NY....and i want the type R engine.....but i was afraid of emmissions failing....i thought maybe GSR but if i can get the type R...what the hell....y not
